S-5! DualPipe is a 1" diameter aluminum tube with a 1/8" wall engineered to work perfectly with the DualGard snow retention system, but can also be used with any other that requires a 1" pipe, including VersaGard.

VersaGard is compatible with almost any trapezoidal, exposed-fastened profile. No messy sealants to apply and no chance for leaks! VersaGard comes with factory-applied butyl sealant already in the base, and the S-5!®- reservoir conceals the sealant from UV exposure, preventing drying and cracks.

You may not be able to predict when a rooftop snow slide will occur, but you can help control how the snow melts off your roof. Snow retention systems increase the friction between the roof and the snow to retain it in place and allow it to evacuate in a controlled manner (thaw and sublimation). In addition, snow guards - also known as metal roof ice stops - help keep large amounts of ice from sliding off a metal roof all at once.

When selecting a snow rail design, it is critical that the system is engineered to resist the forces, which will try to tear it from its mounting. This is done by prudent science, math and testing, not by guesswork. Snow guards must have proven in-service and real-world testing to back them up.
