The material can be pumped out by applying pressure at the end of the tube which is why the Roof Tube is ideal for speed and material cost as the user can pump the desired amount of mastic depending on the project. Mastics are too dense to be applied using a sprayer which is why they are often referred to as part of the "details" stage of a roof restoration process. The Roof Tube is considered a specialty tool and helps apply mastics on all seams, penetrations, drains, skylights, vents, fasteners, and any other flashing details on a commercial roof that are prone to leakage.
