Description
Self adhering, 50 mil Granule Surface starter course for asphalt shingle roofs. Adhesive strip bonds to shingles and prevents uplift at roof edge. Release liner for easy installation, saving time and labor. The membrane is waterproof and self-sealing around nails and other penetrations. May be left exposed for up to 30 days
Features:
- 50 mil nominal thickness
- Self-sealing tabs on each edge for good adhesion
- Installs in temperatures below 40 degrees F
- Applies directly to roof deck
- Minimum slope installation is 2 in. per foot
- Installs under roofing at edges
- Protects from leaks caused by ice dams, melting snow and blowing rain
- May be left exposed for up to 30 days
