Portals Plus 65001, 65011, 65031, 65021 - ABS Reroof Drain w/ Poly Dome

Drains set consists of a molded ultraviolet stabilized polyethylene drain dome, a cast aluminum epoxy coated gravel guard and clamping ring, 14" O.D. injection molded ultraviolet stabilized black ABS drain flange with top rib flashing lock. The ABS downspout outlet pipe is 10" long and has a pre-compressed modified asphalt impregnated expanding foam, sealing tape, having a temperature range of -40 F to +185 F and 150% minimum elongation.

• The easiest and most reliable solution for deficient existing roof drains in reroofing applications.
• Designed to sleeve into the existing drain pipe below the existing roof drain, thereby bypassing all the inherent deficiencies of the existing roof drain assembly and saving the expensive removal of the existing roof drain.
• To create a positive seal with the inside of the existing drain pipe, the ReRoof Drains have a special, compressed high-density modified asphalt impregnated expanding seal.
• The special seal is activated to expand by removing a restraining tape immediately before installation into the existing pipe.
• A permanent elastic watertight seal is formed against the inside of the existing drain pipe eliminating water back up.
• The special seal does not hamper water flow down the pipe as do other seals which depend upon internal devices which can restrict flow by over 50%, therby creating water backed-up onto, and under, the new roof assembly.
• Manufactured with a flat horizontal flange for flush mounting on the roofing or insulation surface to prevent damming of water.
• Each ReRoof Drain includes a heavy cast clamping ring with four bolts to securely compress and permanently seal the edge of the new roof membrane at its most vulnerable position- the low point of the roof.
• Dome strainers bolt down to securely prevent vandalism.
• Completely installed from the rooftop with no special tools and require only one- 7/16" wrench to secure the clamping rings and domes.
