The Phoenix Glasphalt yarn is created in the extreme heat of 3000° furnace. The yarn is twisted and plied twice that of any other glass fiber yarn used for roofing mops, allowing for longer and repeated usage.

Like its namesake, the mythical Phoenix bird that lived for 500 years, then dove into the hot coals of a fire to be reborn for another 500 years, the K.F. Phoenix Glasphalt yarn is created in the extreme heat of a 3,000 degree furnace.

The yarn on the outside is twisted and plied 5.5 turns per inch - twice that of any other glass fiber yarn used for roofing mops. This new Glasphalt yarn will emerge day after day from the hot asphalt to give longer life to its user.
