- A full-body harness, which is an integral part of a personal fall arrest protection system, helps keep your workers safe — no matter if they are working on a construction site or performing rescue work. When connected to a safety line, these nylon, polyester and steel harnesses protect vital organs and prevent casualties by safeguarding wearers from falling to the ground.
- The Warthog Full-Body Harness with Tongue Buckle Legs is the best available economy harness on the market. Classified as a Class 3 full-body harness, it works well for countless full-body applications. It can be used with a worker capacity range of 130 to 310 pounds while limiting the arresting force to no more than 1,800 pounds. No matter the project, these harnesses can withstand tough tasks day in and day out.
- The Warthog has dual lanyard keepers to hold lanyards out of the way while working. The Warthog also comes with a customizable label where workers can record information on harnesses without jeopardizing webbing integrity. With the pre-installed X-Pad, workers will also stay comfortable thanks to this cutting-edge feature. Even if you are wearing a tool belt, the X-Pad will help relieve pressure on your back, neck and shoulders.
- Because the Warthog safety harness is constructed with a one-piece structure, you can trust it will stay in place without slipping. It features leg connections that can be easily adjusted and tightened to help you achieve the perfect fit. Whatever your workers’ size requirements are, the Warthog Full-Body Harness with Tongue and Buckle Legs can be customized to meet their needs — without damaging the webbing.
- The Warthog full-body harness is also designed for efficiency and affordability while meeting the strict ANSI and OSHA testing requirements and standards. It also complies with CSA standards. By offering these full-body harnesses, Malta Dynamics helps keep your workers compliant with industry guidelines and safe from workplace accidents.
How to Adjust and Wear the Warthog Harness
While the Warthog full-body harness delivers reliable protection, it’s important to ensure it’s properly adjusted at all times. Your business’s harnesses need to be regularly inspected, and each worker needs to ensure their harness fits correctly. You can do this by:
- Holding the D-Ring, shake the Warthog safety harness, and then unfasten any straps.
- Slipping the straps over your shoulders, making sure the D-Ring is centered on your back.
- Putting each leg through the straps and then attaching the straps to the connector.
- Fastening the waist belt, if your harness has one.
- Connecting the chest strap, which should stay 6 to 8 inches under your throat.
