Description
The Malta Dynamics Concrete Anchor Strap consists of a durable polyester web inner core, encased by a heavy-duty polyester web sheath. This high-quality sheath protects the inner core from abrasion and wear, thereby extending its overall lifespan. The Malta Dynamics Concrete Anchor Strap can serve as a permanent anchor during building construction or as a temporary anchor for tasks such as wood framework, rebar work, or pipe racking. Always ensure that the chosen attachment point can withstand anticipated fall loads and meets or exceeds OSHA's anchorage strength requirements. When attached to a suitable structure, the Malta Dynamics Concrete Anchor Strap provides workers with a safe and compliant anchor point.

Instructions for Installation:
- Select a Safe Location: Choose a location for the Concrete Anchor Strap that meets OSHA's minimum anchor strength requirement. If unsure, contact a qualified or competent person for assistance.
- Positioning the Anchor: Once a section of the wall or concrete column has been poured and cured, place the looped end of the anchor onto a vertical piece of steel rebar.
- Pouring Concrete: After the anchors are in place, continue pouring the concrete and allow it to cure fully.
- Post-Concrete Removal: After removing the forms, the anchors will remain on the face of the column or between the seams of shear walls.
- Reinforced Concrete Floor Slabs: A three-foot length of rebar can pass through the loop end of the anchor strap and be wire-tied to stay securely in place under the upper mat of rebar. This provides 3.5” of clearance. Concrete can then be poured, casting the anchor strap into place for use once curing is finished.
- Free Fall Distance: Ensure that the free fall distance does not exceed six feet at any time.
- Attachment Point: The attachment point to the anchor should be located at or above the connection point of the fall arrest equipment to the harness.
