Double RC-4C Raised Canted Curb for decks with rigid insulation
Portals Plus #32181 Galvanized Steel Curb, 12x27.5 inch top, 9.5 inch high, Raised Canted Wall, Type RC-4A curb. Fits Double Portal Cap #29305. Overall size 27.5 inch long x 12 inch wide x 9.5 inch high.
- The base roof curb is used together with an upper double Pipe Portal System and appropriate caps (typical is shown in black, not included) to create a versatile, leak proof, and weather tight solution to routing pipes through a roof.
Specifications
Roof curb is fabricated with 18 gauge galvanized roof curb with integral base plate, continuously welded corner seams, factory-installed wood nailer, and 1.5 inch 3-lb rigid fiberglass to insulate on all four sides. Curbs are box section design with full base plate, 18 gauge galvanized steel with raised built-in cant starting 1-1/2 inch above base plate and extended to fully mitered and continuously welded corner seams. Factory installed wood nailer with concealed fasteners. Insulated with 1-1/2 inch thick 3 lb. density rigid fiberglass board encapsulated top and bottom. Standard curb height 9 1/2 to accommodate designed deck slope to provide level mounting surface for specified equipment above.
