Description
M-1 CR (Clean Room) is a thermosetting, moisture-cure sealant, free from solvents and isocyanates. It has been tested and approved for use in semiconductor clean rooms due to its minimal release of airborne molecular contamination at room temperature once fully cured. M-1 CR is ideal for clean rooms in the biomedical, electronics, and aerospace industries where air and surface contamination must be strictly controlled. Additionally, it is suitable for use in food processing facilities, hospitals, schools, offices, and public buildings.

Installation
Bonding surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from oxidation, mill oils, wax, and any release agents that could hinder adhesion. Painted surfaces should be dried and fully cured before bonding. Alcohol and ammonia water are effective for surface preparation. Abraded or irregular surfaces are acceptable for bonding but must be clean and sound. All substrates must be free from manufacturing defects. This clean room sealant sets quickly upon exposure to moisture.
