DuraSil SL is a neutral oxime cure silicone sealant intended for use in pitch pans and warranted E-Curb penetration seals. It is designed for high-temperature applications, withstanding temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). Its low durometer and resilient “elastomeric” properties allow it to handle significant movement in penetration seals. Additionally, DuraSil SL is solvent-free, contains no isocyanates, and does not shrink during curing.

Bonding surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from any contaminants that might affect the sealant's performance. Remove all gravel or loose granules with a brush. Isopropyl alcohol is an effective cleaner for preparing surfaces. Do not dilute DuraSil SL with any foreign materials or liquids. The seal surface will form a skin and become water-tight in approximately 1 hour. Avoid use if rain is expected within 4 hours. For application guidelines in temperatures below 32°F (0°C), please contact customer service. Do not use on TPO without applying a TPO primer, and do not use on Hypalon. Smooth APP membranes need a granulated target. This product cures quickly upon exposure to moisture and is only available through ChemLink distributors.
