ChemLink, #1212 Clear Polyether Sealant

Clear is a moisture curing, polyether sealant designed for application in damp, dry, or cold climates. Clear is solvent free and contains no isocyanates. Will not shrink upon curing and will not discolor when exposed to UV light, and can not "out-gass" or bubble on damp surfaces as urathane sealants often do. Clear has resilient "elastomeric" properties and excellent adhesion to most construction materials. Clear is capable of joint movement in excess of 25% in both compression and extension. Clear can be used effectively in many difficult construction site conditions, curing in wet or dry climate conditions and at low temperatures 32 degrees F (0 degrees C)

INSTALLATION

Bonding surfaces should be clean, dry and free from all contamination that may inhibit the sealant’s performance. Isopropyl alcohol is an effective cleaner for surface preparation. Please contact customer service for application guidelines for temperatures below 32 degrees F (0 degrees C). Maintain our clear roof sealant at room temperature before application to ensure adequate tooling and adhesion. This product sets rapidly upon exposure to moisture.
