Where are the counterweights and/or water tanks?
The Trirex has no counterweights to add or water tanks to fill. the solid steel frame along with the leverage of the safety engagement arm eliminates the need for counterweights and water tanks.
How does it work?
If a fall were to occur, the Trirex has a patented roof safety engagement device that penetrates the roof. this creates a secure anchor point to restrain or arrest the fall.
How many men can attach to the Trirex?
Three men can attach to the Trirex for fall arrest protection.* two additional men can attach to the Trirex for fall restraint for a total of five men attached at any one time.
Is the Trirex OSHA approved?
The Trirex is manufactured in compliance with OSHA regulation 1926.502(d) for fall arrest anchors.
Where do I hook up to on the Trirex?
Three rings are welded to a green plate located in the center on the side of the Trirex. these are the fall arrest tie-off points. two yellow swiveling d-rings are tie-offs for fall restraint. the four yellow fixed lifting hooks located on the corners are for hoisting purposes only. + *for concrete, only two men can attach for fall arrest.
Can the base model be used without the large job box?
No, the large job box is an integral part of the Trirex and is bolted to the frame.
What type of tires are installed on the Trirex?
All Trirex models come standard with solid polyurethane tires.
Are there any parts that need to be replaced or recertified after fall arrest?
Although the Trirex can be used after again after a fall arrest, it’s a good idea to replace the claw components. we’ve got your covered with our pivot point replacement kit. the pivot point replacement kit contains a new pivot pin, brass

Can I install my own equipment on the Trirex?
Yes, leading-edge safety offers an optional 12 cubic foot job box but the base model is sold without any additional equipment. the owner has the opportunity to install their own equipment.
Can the engagement system be installed on the roofing carts I already own?
No, the Trirex™ is specifically designed and tested to operate in combination with the roof safety engagement device. a fabricated roofing cart does not comply with OSHA regulations without proper testing and certification.
