The Ladder Strap has been tested rolling a 30 pound felt roll, 25 feet down a 5/12 pitch sloped roof, exerting 350 lbs force against the ladder, with no dislodging or unsettling of the ladder. After standing ladder against the roof overhang, wrap each ladder side rail with strap and feed metal end through nylon loop. See image #2.

Place Metal strap end on roof sheathing making sure that the nylon portion of strap is free of all twists and tangles. Lay flat against sheathing as shown in image #3.

Drive a minimum of three one inch standard roofing felt nails (0.113" minimum shank diameter) in the three slots in each metal strap end. Make sure nail heads tightly secure strap to sheathing. See image #4.

Pull nylon straps tightly securing both the ladder straps as shown in image #5.

To remove straps, simply release strap tension by pressing cam buckle. Slide the strap off nails by lightly tapping strap hump with hammer as shown in images #6 & #7.
